- DRINKS BREAK! India are putting pressure on the Windies, who are doing their best to resist. This has been the situation in the first hour of the first session on Day 3. India declared their innings overnight, immediately putting the Windies on the back foot and making use of the early moisture in the pitch that allows their seamers to thrive. The openers played well initially, but a fantastic catch by Nitish Kumar Reddy ended their resistance. After a few unsuccessful appeals, Jadeja, too, managed to take the wicket of the other opener.
