JAMMU : BSF caught a Pakistani national trying to sneak into India via the international border in Jammu’s R S Pura area late on Sunday.
"The intruder was warned but he paid no heed. Troops fired warning shots and captured him. During interrogation, he identified himself as Siraaj Khan, son of Zahid Khan, from Sargodha district in Pakistan’s Punjab. He has been handed over to police," said BSF’s Jammu PRO.
Pakistani currency was recovered from Siraaj.
Earlier, on Aug 11, a Pakistani intruder was shot dead along the border in Kathua district.
