Local clubs win KDMA league cricket matches

Kanpur: Rovers Club lost to Winners Club by wickets in the KDMA league match held here at Everest ground on Wednesday.

Rovers Club, deciding to bat first, posted a total of 268 runs in 40 overs. Faiz Ahmad scored 102 runs. Abhishek Yadav and Sarthak Lohia also contributed 62 and 41 runs respectively in the team's total. Winners Club in reply hit the required 269 runs for the loss of 6 wickets with two balls to spare.

Rolland, Rashtriya Youth, Kanpur Eaglet, SS and Kherapati clubs also won their league matches held at different grounds.
