Kanpur: Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak met the grieving family members of Shubham Dwivedi at their residence in Hathipur on Tuesday. He spent nearly an hour consoling the bereaved family and assured them of all possible assistance from the state government.
The family shared their concerns about the rising incidents of terrorism and the safety of security personnel serving in sensitive areas. During his interaction, Pathak said that the government is taking strict measures to combat terrorism and protect its forces.
Local residents and community members also gathered to pay their respects. The deputy CM listened to their concerns regarding security matters and assured them of enhanced vigilance. He said the state govt would ensure that Shubham Dwivedi's supreme sacrifice for the nation was properly honoured.
Before departing, Pathak directed the local officials to remain in touch with the family and address any immediate requirements they might have. His visit brought some solace to the family and the local community, who were deeply affected by the tragic loss.
