The UK's most loved pint revealed - and it's not Guinness

With over 40,000 pubs all over the country, it is clear that the UK loves a pint.

A new report by has taken into account many factors including Instagram hashtags, Google search volume and TikTok trend percentage within the UK in order to determine the nation's most loved beer.

Using their own scoring system, Bionic have comprised a list of the 10 highest rated beers amongst the public - and some of the names on the list may surprise you.

The list ranks Brewdog as the number one pint in the country, with an overall index score of 65.6/100.

The beer ranked highest on both Google and TikTok searches, and third highest on Instagram hashtags.

The beer was also rated as having a brand fame of 82%.

The company growing immensely in popularity, due to the fact they now have 71 bars across the UK and how they brew over 36 different beers.

They are also recently expanding into the spirits and cocktails market.

Taking second spot on the list is the much-loved Guinness, with a score of 54.8. A staple in every pub, the Irish Stout is immensely popular on sites such as Instagram due to the 'splitting the G' trend.

There are also some lesser known beers that have made the top 10, including Kent's Shepherd Name and Cardiff's Brains, with fame scores of 42 and 39 respectively.

This goes to show that just because a beer is popular, it doesn't necessarily mean it's the best.

Bionic have calculated the best cider to be Kopparberg, which is the world's best selling pear cider.

The highest ranked independent beer is Black Sheep from North Yorkshire, with TikTok searches for the brand increasing by 50% year on year.
