IT'S taken Rachel Reeves just a month to cave into her union paymasters. First to the junior doctors, who even though they've been given a 22% pay rise say it's nowhere near enough and they'll be back next year for more.
And now train drivers, whose already bloated salaries are about to jump from £60,000 to £69,000 which, with overtime, could put them on £100,000 for a four-day week (and no Sunday working).
And to help pay for all that she's stripped pensioners of their £300 winter allowance knowing that fuel prices are going to rocket by 10% this winter.
And THIS is the socialist government that promised to look after Britain's most vulnerable people.
No, what's become very clear, very quickly, is that the only people this government is interested in looking after are those unions who brought Britain to a standstill with strikes in order to oust the Tories.
Louise Haigh, the Transport Secretary (who has now fulfilled her promise to work hand-in-glove with Aslef union boss Mick Whelan) even had the brass neck to say this week: "This government is putting passengers first."
No it isn't. It's putting its union mates first and rewarding them for their loyalty with OUR money. Passengers are the ones who'll suffer here with higher train fares.
Every day it becomes clearer this government, but particularly Reeves, is totally out of its depth. Doesn't she and Haigh know what happened in the 70s when the Labour government doled out massive public sector pay rises, the result of which was a pay war with every union competing for an even bigger pay rise than the previous one?
That all ended with 25% inflation and a wrecked economy.
Does she not see that's going to happen here? Does she not see the lunacy of stating publicly that "strikes cost more than settling"? Because in saying that she's given the green light to every union to demand what the Hell they like knowing they'll get it.
Having seen her largesse to the junior doctors and train drivers, GPs (many of whom are partners in their practices on an average of £153,000 a year) are now going to stick their hands out for bumper rises, as will teachers, bus drivers and lorry drivers. And they'll get them because Numbskull Reeves has made clear that strikes pay and having done that she's sold out her power to negotiate with any union.
So now there'll be no more negotiations - just demands which will be met the instant they're made.
And where's the money for all this coming from? Oh hang on? that £22B black hole Reeves is always banging on about - which doesn't exist but which she is now creating with these public sector pay rises - and which is her get out. Because that will be her excuse to raise taxes even though the latest growth figures show there is absolutely no reason to.
But what really grates with Reeves is her condescension and the fact she thinks we're all gullible idiots so thick that we can't see through her lies and her insistence that Britain is an economic basket case and that she's inherited the worst economy since World War Two.
Well that lie has been blown apart this week with figures showing our GDP growth is the highest in seven years and we're the fastest growing economy in the G7. THAT was all down to the Tories. As was getting inflation down to 2%, and the predictions are there'll be another bank rate cut next month.
Even Germany's top bank, Deutsche Bank, has talked about the "remarkable UK stock market".
So no, we are not a country in economic turmoil, although given time I'm sure Ms Reeves will make it so. Yet all she's done since she came to power is talk Britain down. What kind of chancellor does that? It's traitorous and it makes her and us look shoddy on the world stage.
Rachel Reeves, Queen of Thieves, is a joke. But this week her nonsense and her lies have been exposed. She's treated the electorate like fools and she's made herself look ridiculous with her fake doom and gloom predictions.
The only thing that's an economic basket case is her!!

WE ALWAYS knew the doctors strikes were going to kill someone and now they have - 71-year-old Daphne Austin who a coroner says died of sepsis at Carlisle's Cumberland Infirmary thanks to the walkouts.
But the militants at the BMA don't give a stuff, neither do they have the guts to accept responsibility. They're claiming the NHS trust should have ensured safe levels of staffing. Hard to do when "the staff" are out on strike on the orders of this Marxist mob who really don't care whether people live or die.
Now it's clear we have doctors who feel the same, who'd rather strike for a few more bob in their already generous pay packets than save the lives of people like Daphne Austin. God help us all!

PAUL Hollywood, who's fond of telling us all that "I'm just a baker - nothing else" has just splashed out big time on a new helicopter.
Trouble is, his neighbours in Ashford, Kent, are furious because Hollywood, who's trying to get his pilot's licence, is forever taking off and landing in his back garden and the noise is said to be driving them nuts. You have to wonder about the ego of a 58-yearold baker who forks out close to half a million quid on a helicopter to get from A to B instead of just jumping in his car, getting on a train or getting a plane.
This all looks like a terrifying combo of the male menopause and a lot of concerted willy waving.

LOTTIE MOSS is moaning that she and her family - including her half sister Kate - have fallen out because she stripped naked for the adult subscription website OnlyFans. No wonder her family is furious. This little madam aw had a top drawer private education and she was given every chance to succeed in the modelling world courtesy of her famous surname.
Had she chosen to work hard like her half sister Kate she could have been a very rich young lady by now. Instead she chose the lazy way out and just took her clothes off for money.
Silly girl!!

NORTH Korea is re-opening its doors to tourists after a five-year lockdown.
But I'm struggling to see how they're going to tempt tourists there when you get still get the death penalty for watching foreign films, when they torture lawbreakers with flamethrowers, choke them with pebbles and shoot them in front of a firing squad.
You can also get chucked in jail for bringing religious items into the country and for not declaring electronic devices.
Oh and they're building a beach resort next to one of Kim Jong Un's missile sites.
Am I selling it to you?

LOUIE Spence quit the SAS: Who Dares Wins TV show after 24 hours because he didn't realise how tough it would be.
Did he never watch the show? And how tough could it have been after just 24 hours? He'd barely started the selection process when he decided to walk (run) away.
But it kinda tells you everything you need to know about the bloke - wet, unreliable, doesn't give a stuff about letting others down, no staying power.
Just so desperate to be on telly that he'll accept anything.

IT DOESN'T matter how many facelifts you have, how many procedures; it doesn't matter how much exercise you do or the type of clothes you wear - 66 still looks like 66 when it's standing next to a 29-year-old hot footballer.
This is Madonna's latest squeeze, Jamaican footballer Akeem Morris. And I'm sorry, I know she's an icon, I know she works very hard at looking younger but however you cut it she still looks like his Grandma!

I'M wondering if Meghan will declare herself an honorary Colombian after her "tour" there.
She's already declared herself 43% Nigerian after her visit there. She then claimed Malta as "her country" after going there.
So, how much is left of her to declare as Colombian?
And what about the place she was actually born and raised - Canoga, Los Angeles?
Or is that not exotic or glamorous enough for her brand?
