M60 traffic: Major UK motorway closed after 'police incident'

A stretch of the M60 was closed by police following an incident. The road in Greater Manchester was closed in both directions between J11 (Eccles) and J12 (M602).

National Highways said officers were at the scene. A diversion route was in place and motorists were warned to expect delays.
