
Charley Hull is no stranger to a raised eyebrow. The divisive golf star isn't one to mince her words, with Hull having also been characterised for her love of smoking. The women's golf ace has been spotted lighting a cigarette midway through a round on several different occasions.
But the fitness lover, who , has turned her home into a health paradise, equipped with a full gym. During a recent interview with Peacock Sports, she explained: "I just love fitness, it's my hobby. I just think it's the best thing ever, that whole set-up. I've got at home, my golf simulator, my whole gym, because I'm really into my hyrox. It's just my happy place."
She added: "I just love playing golf, I think it's so fun. I prefer playing golf at home with my friends than I do on tour. I just love golf for golf, not for making money. I balance it all out at home, I gym, I golf. I just wish there were more hours left in the day."
Hull had previously explained her goal for 2025 was to run a sub-20 five-kilometre run. On her progress, she explained: "It's going good, it's 23:30, I did that last weekend. But I reckon I've got about 21 [minutes] in me at the minute, so I'll be testing that in a few weeks time. But I'm definitely breaking that goal. So to all the people out there who said it's impossible to get it down that quickly, well there you go."
It comes after Hull vowed to give up smoking, pledging to . Explaining the deal during a social media video, she said: "Today, I have made the decision to stop smoking."
Turning to her player while holding a box of cigs, Hull said: "I'm going to give them to Ryan now. And I'm going to do a £10,000 bet with you, I get no money in it, if I pick up a cigarette in the next two months, I'll give you £10,000. Deal?"
Having regened on the smokes, Hull provided an update ahead of this week's Black Desert Championship in Utah.
The Kettering-born star stated: "I think it's the easiest thing I've ever done in my life. Yeah, it's pretty, pretty, pretty easy. I'm a strong-minded person. Usually when I put my head and my mind to something I can do it."
