EA FC 26 reveal trailer - Date, time and how to watch after Zlatan announced as cover star

EA Sports is about to officially unveil the next entry in its annual football series.

The EA FC 26 gameplay reveal will be broadcast live on YouTube at 4.57pm BST on the afternoon of July 16.

As you can see from the trailer preview, football legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic is heavily involved in the new game.

In fact, EA Sports has confirmed that Zlatan will be the cover star of the EA FC 26 Ultimate Edition.

Likewise, the preview video below features Chelsea forward Cole Palmer, which suggests he may be on the cover of the UK version.

The preview video below also suggests that EA Sports will show actual gameplay instead of just a cinematic.

In terms of a release date for the game, EA FC 26 is likely to launch in September for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Fans will also be hoping for an up-to-date Nintendo Switch 2 version that's on par with the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC editions.

While waiting for the release of EA FC 26, fans can check out the Season Finale update for the current game.

According to Electronic Arts, the most recent update aims to "provide fair and fun gameplay outcomes".

This includes changes to passing, as Electronic Arts "moderately increases accuracy of Ground Passes for players with high Passing related Attributes".

Likewise, the update reduces the effectiveness of goalkeepers rushing with the Rush Out Playstyle and increases the accuracy of contested and uncontested headers.
