Dyson Black Friday sale is here and they've slashed vacuums by as much as £550

Black Friday has come early at Dyson, with the brand kicking off its official sale weeks ahead of the big day. Known for its hi-tech appliances, shoppers can make savings of up to £550 across its best-selling cordless vacuums, and there are even more discounts on its hair tools and air purifiers.

The sale includes some of Dyson's most popular vacuums, such as the V10, V11, and 360 Vis Nav, along with deals on the Supersonic hair dryer and Purifier Cool fan.

One of the standout discounts in terms of price reduction is the Dyson 360 Vis Nav robot vacuum cleaner, now £649.99, down from £1,199.99 - a saving of £550. Dyson claims it's the most powerful robot vacuum on the market, supposedly having six times more suction power than its rival models. Plus, its HEPA filtration system can capture dust, allergens, and pet hair.

The mini robot vacuum has 360-degree vision, meaning it will zoom around your home detecting dirt and spillage. Users can also control it via the app, meaning it can be scheduled to clean and even work remotely to vacuum while you're out. Plus, one charge can result in up to 65 minutes of action.

There are lots of positive reviews about the 360 Vis Nav, with many people saying it easy to use. One customer wrote: "The vac lives in the corner nicely out of the way and comes out either when scheduled or when we use the app to request it. It even has an edging tool that pops out so it can clean right up to the skirting board. I am extremely happy."

One downside a few users commented on was the app, which some people noted wasn't quite as easy to use as initially believed. Someone wrote: "It still needs some improvement. The ability to specify the sequence of areas to clean, optimise the avoidance feature, and pause the robot. And the mapping should be optimised, which, even after repeating three times, doesn't seem to be optimal."

If you're after something that can handle stairs, the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute has also been reduced - now £299.99, saving £80. It's lightweight, weighing just 2.6kg, so you don't need to worry about breaking a sweat while cleaning around your house. A full charge is three and a half hours, after which it should have a battery life of 60 minutes.

Although it's not specifically designed to tackle pet hair (unlike the Ball Animal, which is also reduced), it is strong enough to attack it, with a specially designed head that detangles as it cleans. In the Black Friday deal, there are five different heads included: a soft roller for hard floors, another for carpets, a smaller nozzle for stairs and upholstery and a crevice valve for hard-to-reach corners. To finish, the point-and-shoot bin empties in one quick, mess-free motion so you never have to touch the mess.

It's got a 4.6-star out of five rating on Dyson, with customers praising the suction. One shopper said: "Lightweight and easy to use. Great suction and tools."

However, not everyone has been impressed with the battery. One person wrote: "Disappointed in length of time battery lasts otherwise love it."

Dyson's Black Friday event isn't limited to vacuums either - the Supersonic hair dryer is now £229.99, and the Purifier Cool PC1 purifying fan has £100 off, taking it to £349.99.

Of course, Dyson isn't the only appliance brand who have dropped their prices ahead of Black Friday. Shark also has some early Black Friday deals. Customers can grab a bundle of the Shark pet vacuum and the steam mop for £284.99, down from £439.98.

Vax has also made an early start on its sale by reducing many of its best-selling products by up to £100, including its Glide 2 cordless hard floor cleaner, which is now £249.99 rather than £349.99.
