Chelsea were savagely trolled by Flamengo at the Club World Cup before going on to lose 3-1 to their Brazilian opponents in America. After leading at half-time through Pedro Neto's early goal, it unraveled for the Blues after the break as Bruno Henrique, former Manchester City man Danilo and Wallace Yan all struck.

To compound matters, Enzo Maresca's side finished with 10 men after Nicolas Jackson was sent off midway through the second half. Just moments aftet his side had gone 2-1 down, the Senegalese international was sent on as a substitute but immediately launched into a reckless tackle and was duly red carded. The result now leaves the Premier League side in danger of not qualifying for the knockout stages ahead of their final group game with ES Tunis.
