A British man is fighting for his life after a 22ft horror plunge in Ibiza left him with devastating injuries. The Brit remains in a critical condition after falling from a considerable height at a commercial centre in Sant Antoni de Portmany. It is understood he fell from the car park of a Mercadona supermarket located on Johann Sebastian Bach Street on Monday night, as reported by the SAMU 061 emergency service.
It is not known whether the man, whose age was originally given as 30 but later revised to 26, was on holiday in Ibiza or a resident. He was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel before being transferred to the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Polyclinic.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 8:16pm on Monday, with one advanced and another basic life support ambulance among the vehicles dispatched.
While the exact circumstances of the fall have not yet been disclosed by authorities, a full investigation is reportedly underway.
