These soldiers boarded the North East Express from Kanpur and Fatehpur on Tuesday. The soldiers called in emergency sat near the toilet of the AC coach. Seeing 35 army soldiers going to Guwahati and other places on emergency duty amid increasing tension on the country's border standing near the basin and toilet without reserved tickets, the TTE asked them to go to the general bogie.
The behavior of the TTE was very bad. Seeing this, the blood of the passengers in the coach boiled. Many passengers, including Ramesh Tiwari and Vimal Saxena of Varanasi, who were traveling in the train, immediately posted the video and message on X, which resulted in a flood of hundreds of tweets. Thousands of people or rather the whole country stood with these soldiers. These soldiers did not have reserved seats.
The passengers tagged the Railway Minister and the DRM of Prayagraj division and appealed for help. Seeing the helplessness of the soldiers and the anger of the passengers in the viral video on X, the DRM office immediately called the passenger who posted the video and asked if action should be taken against the TTE, but the passengers only asked for seats for the soldiers. Before the train reached Prayagraj Junction, the railway workers, with the help of the passengers, gave seats to all the soldiers with respect.
The soldiers said that their leave has been cancelled and they have been asked to report immediately. Among them, there were two soldiers who were getting married this month. They said, "Marriage will happen, but the opportunity to protect the motherland does not come again and again." In the video, the soldiers have also made a video of the behavior of the TTE.
