This session is a matter of pride for the nation: PM ModiThis session is a very proud session for the nation. This monsoon session is a form of victory celebration for the nation. When I say that this session is a session of national pride and victory celebration, then first of all I would like to say that the hoisting of the Indian tricolour flag at the International Space Station for the first time is a moment of pride for every citizen of the country. This has been a successful journey that has filled the country with new zeal and enthusiasm towards science and technology, innovation. Today, the entire Parliament, both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha houses, will join in one voice in the pride that the countrymen are feeling. It will be praised in one voice, which will also be an inspiration for the future programs that will take India to new heights in space.

The Prime Minister said, this monsoon session is a victory celebration. The whole world has seen the form of India's military power and capability. The Indian army achieved 100% of the target set in Operation Sindoor. Under Operation Sindoor, the house of the masters of the terrorists was razed to the ground within 22 minutes. I had announced in the Bihar program that our military power has proved it in a very short time and the world has been attracted to this new form of the Made in India military power.
I am sure that when the House will express its feelings of victory in one voice during this session, then India's military power will be strengthened and the research and manufacturing that is happening in the military sector, the Made in India weapons that are being made will also get a boost and new employment opportunities will be created for the youth of India. In a way, we can see this decade as moving ahead shoulder to shoulder.
The scope of Naxalism is decreasingTalking about Naxalism, PM Modi said, the country has been a victim of many types of violent incidents for a long time. The country has been facing it since independence, be it terrorism or Naxalism, but today the scope of Naxalism and Maoism is shrinking very fast. The security forces of the country are moving towards success at a fast pace with a new confidence. I can proudly say that hundreds of districts in the country are coming out of the grip of Naxalism and are breathing a sigh of freedom today. We are proud that our country's constitution is winning in front of bombs, guns and pistols, our country's constitution is becoming victorious, it is visible for the bright future of the country that the red corridors till yesterday are being transformed into green zones today.
India is the third largest economy in the worldFriends, such events are a moment of pride for every honourable MP who has come to Parliament for the good of the country and in this session of Parliament, the entire country will hear this song of pride from every party and MP. Friends, when you gave us the responsibility in the economic sector in 2014, the country's economy was going through a difficult time. Before 2014, we were at number 10 in the global economy but today India is moving ahead to become the third economy of the world. These days 25 crore poor people are coming out of poverty, which is being appreciated by many institutions of the world. There was a time in the country before 2014 when the pain of inflation used to be in double digits, today it has stopped at around 2 percent. Low inflation, high growth is giving direction to a good development journey.
WHO declared India trachoma freeDigital India, UPI: Today the world is seeing and recognising a new potential of India. Friends, recently there was a global conference of the International Labour Organisation in which India achieved great heights. ILO says that more than 90 crore people in India are now under the ambit of social security. WHO has said that India has been declared free from the eye disease trachoma. This in itself is an important achievement for India.
PM Modi praised the opposition MPsFriends, the entire world was shocked by the brutal killing, atrocity and massacre of Pahalgam; the world's attention was focused on the terrorists and their masters. At that time, leaving aside party interests, in the interest of the country, the representatives of most of our parties, representatives of most states toured the world, went to many countries of the world and unanimously ran a very successful campaign to expose Pakistan, the master of the terrorists, before the world. Today, I want to praise all those MPs and parties for this important work done in the national interest and it created a positive atmosphere in the country. The world opened the doors of its mind to accept India's point of view, for this our MPs and political parties deserve praise.
