The team of 'Housefull 5' including Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, and Fardeen Khan left for Pune on Sunday to promote their upcoming film. The venue was crowded and as soon as the stars arrived at the mall, chaos ensued. The situation turned so bad that Akshay himself had to intervene.
The crowd went out of control upon seeing the actors.
As soon as Akshay and his co-stars arrived on stage, the crowd went out of control, leading to a stampede-like situation. The mall was jam-packed. Fans not only filled the venue but also the upper floors and corridors. Several videos have gone viral in which young girls and women can be seen crying.
Jacqueline held a little girl.
A little girl was also seen crying after being separated from her parents in front of the stage, and Jacqueline consoled her and assured her parents that she was safe.
Akshay Kumar handled the situation.
Soon after this, Akshay was seen taking the mic and requesting the crowd to be careful so that no untoward incident happened. Akshay Kumar appealed to the people, 'Please do not push. I request with folded hands, there are women, children here... I request everyone.' During this, the rest of the actors looked tense.
The actors were seen dancing.
After this, the team of 'Housefull 5' carried forward the event after controlling the crowd and finished it in the stipulated time. Akshay, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline, Sonam, and others were seen dancing and playing Fugdi not only with each other but also with the fans.
The film will be released on this date.
'Housefull 5' is all set to hit the silver screen on June 6, 2025. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, and other actors in lead roles.
