Vernon Kay poses with stunning daughter as fans say she's Tess Daly's 'double'

Vernon Kay has been pictured with his daughter, Phoebe, in some sweet photos from their time at Wimbledon. The annual tennis tournament had no shortage of stars in attendance, turning up to the iconic All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London to watch the athletes at work.

Radio host Vernon, 51, was all smiles in a pale pink linen suit, a plain white t-shirt and matching white trainers. He sported a dark pair of sunglasses. Daughter Phoebe, 20, wore a flowing light green midi dress with V-neck and thin straps, ideal for the warm weather, paired with gold heels.

She kept her blonde hair in loose, wavy tendrils framing her face.

The caption accompanying the photo reads: “The most amazing day [at Wimbledon] tennis with a side of champagne”.

In the comments section, people were quick to share their thoughts - with many in agreement that Phoebe is the “double” of both her father and her famous mother, Tess Daly.

One person simply said: “Very good genes at work there”.

Someone else said: “She is your double with Tess’ blonde hair!!! Gorgeous girl!”

A third believed she most closely resembled her mum and commented: “Spitting image of her mother”.

Someone else saw more of a link between Phoebe and Vernon: “Your daughter is very like you”.

Phoebe Kay was born in October 2004, the first child of presenters Vernon Kay and Tess Daly. In May 2009, sister Amber was born.

Veron and Tess have been married since September 12, 2003, where they tied the knot at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Horwich, Bolton.

The couple tend to keep their daughters out of the spotlight but as Phoebe is now older, and operates public social media pages of her own, the girls do feature occasionally on their famous parents’ Instagram pages, as well as at public events.

Recently, Tess shared insight into a trip to New York City that she took with both girls to celebrate the completion of school exam season.

Alongside a carousel of images featuring highlights from their American getaway, Tess penned: “First time back in NYC since becoming a mum (20 years [mindblown emoji]) a fab VERY hot long weekend, post GCSE trip showing the girls where I used to live [US flag]”.
