The forthcoming PS Plus collection is gearing up for its big reveal, with high expectations that Extra and Premium subscribers will be treated to a plethora of top-notch titles.
PS Plus has a habit of being hit-and-miss with each new release, but at this point, it's simply part of the journey. The service always provides something to anticipate, as even if it releases games you're not eager to play immediately, it continually offers more choices, ensuring every kind of gamer has something to delve into.
The PS Plus Extra and Premium June 2025 drop had plenty to offer, even if not all resonated – the quirky newcomer FBC: Firebreak arrived and struggled to make the significant impact that Remedy's first extraction shooter was expected to, and Battlefield 2042's late arrival was fun for an experiment with players who hadn't tried it before, but didn't get more thrilling than that.
However, the service truly spoiled players with Diablo 4 as part of the PS Plus Essential games this month, demonstrating that it still has a few surprises in store – and gamers are hopeful that it can deliver another impressive collection of titles with PS Plus Extra and Premium.
The method we use to predict what might feature in any given PS Plus update is to examine the games that were released this time last year, add a year to those games' original PlayStation release date, and see which titles were launched around the same month. In this instance, we're examining the PS Plus Extra and Premium July 2024 games, which included Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and No More Heroes 3.
It's an odd month of deep cuts, but adding a year onto Wrath of the Righteous' March 2024 release date brings us to March 2025, which saw the launch of Carmen Sandiego, Dungeons of Hinterberg, and Atomfall.
Larger games like Split Fiction and Two Point Museum were also launched during this month, but it might be a bit unlikely to see them appear due to the quick turnaround from their release. However, games like Dungeons of Hinterberg would be well received by players, making for a fantastic month – a fantastic month that's about to get a reveal. Here's what you need to know about the PS Plus Extra and Premium July 2025 reveal date.

PS Plus Extra and Premium July 2025 reveal dateThe PS Plus Extra and Premium July 2025 reveal date is Wednesday, July 9 at 8.30am PDT / 11.30am EDT / 4.30pm BST. We know this because PlayStation always unveils these games on the second Wednesday of every month, before delivering them to players on the following Tuesday, which in this case will be Tuesday, July 15.
It won't be long before we find out what's in store, but it would be a fantastic month if our predictions turn out to be accurate. Honestly, though, it's more games to play without any additional cost. We'll gladly accept whatever we can get.
