The mum-of-three had been suffering with a severe UTI in 2016 which became increasingly worse following the birth of her first son Rox in 2019.
Speaking to the Mail about Casey's heartfelt proposal, she said: "I was in such a bad way mentally, emotionally and physically; I couldn't believe he even wanted to be with me. I was in such a bad way.
"For him to ask me to marry him at that point I thought 'what? You're asking me to marry you when I'm this ill?' It completely shocked me. He said he loved me unconditionally and it was just a real special moment."
