Halloween is fast approaching, and if you're ready to feel some major nostalgia, don't stop reading. If you're looking for an excuse to buy yourself a showertime treat, then Lushhas launched something that will tug on your heartstrings and make you gasp in delight. Named 'Alien Egg Farm,' if you ever had an alien egg toy which allegedly gave birth if you put it in the fridge, then you need this shower gel.

Rachael, who posts on Instagram as @selfcarewithrachael, asked: "Does anyone else remember the alien eggs in the 90s?" and many people certainly do, as they were a playgroundstaple (although you may have to sneak them in your bag so they didn't get confiscated).

Rachael's caption continued: "Rumour had it if you put them in the fridge, then they would make babies and they would stick to your walls or ceiling like glue, then make a lovely gooey stain that didn’t go away.

"Lush has brought out an alien egg farm shower jelly in the Halloween range for 2025, and it’s taking me right back! For me, it’s one of the coolest shower jellies I’ve had to date.

"It is also zesty/ Avobath scented, so a lot better than the original alien egg smell! I’m hoping it’ll make babies in the fridge overnight".

Lush described the shower jelly as a "zesty" and "full of sweet lychee juice and lime peel infusion" which "makes skin feel mysteriously soft and soothed".

Inside, there's a "gummy alien" which has a different, more firm, texture to the shower jelly.

It's also "completely vegan" and "skin friendly," and Lush also recommends that you "pop this jelly in the fridge or freezer before showering for freshness that's out of this world".

This one is 250g which will cost £10, and anyone who has ever had a Lush shower jelly will know that they last a seriously long time.

However, there's also a huge version which can only be purchased in store, and it weighs a whopping 1.8kg. So, if you want to supersize your alien experience, you'll have to pop into your nearest store.

The 1.8kg product will set you back £40 - but you get almost double the product for your price when purchasing four 250g aliens.

In the comments, some people shared their experiences with the original aliens that were in eggs.

One wrote: "I remember sleeping with one under my pillow until it melted from the radiator heat and the egg opened up and leaked everywhere".

Another person said: "The rumour in our school was that if you put them back to back, then they would have a baby".

A woman joked: "Is it weird that when I saw this, I smelt the original alien?"
