Scrubs, the beloved American hospital comedy, is set for a comeback, with fans eager to see their favourite characters back in action. The show, which once pulled in nearly 16 million viewers, has been slated for a revival in ABC's 2025-2026 season.
Several original cast members, including Zach Braff and Donald Faison, known for their on-screen bromance as J.D. and Turk, as well as Sarah Chalke, the romantic lead, are confirmed to return. They'll be reuniting under the guidance of series creator Bill Lawrence, who also had a hand in creating Ted Lasso.
Bill Lawrence expressed his enthusiasm to Variety, saying: "Scrubs means so very much to me," and "So excited for the chance to get the band back together."

Zach Braff - J.D.Post-Scrubs, Braff has pursued directing, with credits like Wish I Was Here alongside Kate Hudson and the 2017 film Going in Style featuring Morgan Freeman.
