A foodie was left in stitches after they saw the name of who was delivering their McDonald's. The order from the Golden Arches was picked up by the unlikeliest of names, with a man sharing the rider name with bemused members of the public. Richard Hagen, 31, had been hoping for a smooth transaction but was met with a hilarious name instead.
The 31-year-old from Michigan, United States, has since explained the DoorDash order delighted them as they found Ronald would be delivering their McDonald's. Hagen has since confirmed it was not the famed clown mascot of McDonald's, but it certainly gave him and his family something to laugh about.
Richard's post has delighted members of the public, with many left howling at the happenstance order name. Ronald's delivery has been praised by McDonald's as the dream delivery.

He told Newsweek: "My wife and I ordered a DoorDash for a sweet treat from McDonald's and as soon as the dasher populated, I got a notification that 'Ronald' was on his way to pick up the order from McDonald's.
"I instantly screenshotted and posted because it's hilarious." Hagen would go viral on Threads, receiving 42,000 likes for his post. He captioned it: "Being delivered by the man himself?"
He followed it up with a hilarious reply to his own post, writing: "Just letting everyone know he drives a Kia sedan." Others were left in stitches by the chance name, with one replying: "I was expecting a bike with one big wheel and one little wheel."
Another suggested they would have tipped more if Ronald was in fact dressed as the famed clown. They shared: "I'd tip him more if he walks out as the clown."
Hagen was left delighted by the replies almost as much as the delivery made by Ronald. Though he didn't share the joke with his driver, he did find it amusing that his post has gone viral.
He shared: "It's funny that we spend hours creating content online, and the post that goes viral this month is just [that] a man named Ronald delivered our DoorDash from McDonald's.
"It fell into my lap so perfectly that I had to post it. It shows there's beauty in the simple, everyday things that can make people laugh!"
The official McDonald's page on Threads replied to Hagen, writing: "My dream." Another user shared: "Ronald McDonald wanted to personally deliver your order to you."
A third joked: "Better than the Hamburglar. I never got my food at all!" It comes as an Australian was left bewildered by a major difference to McDonald's in the UK.
Originally from Australia, Amie now lives in London, and quite a few cultural differences shocked her and her friends, including the difference between McDonald's restaurants.
She shared: "You'll walk through central London, and you'll see a McDonald's in this beautiful old Victorian building, and you're like why do they let them put McDonald's in there?"
