The White House has shared a new bizarre AI-generated image of as a muscular, but people have noticed a key detail his team might have missed.
Donald Trump appeared as a character in an official post shared by the White House today to celebrate the intergalactic franchise's day, celebrated every year on May 4. In the image, while brandishing a lightsaber as two bald eagles - the national animal of the US - and American flags stood behind him. The post was also captioned: "Happy May the 4th to all, including the radical left lunatics who are fighting so hard to bring Sith lords (Star Wars villains), murderers, drug lords, dangerous prisoners and well-known MS-13 gang members back into our galaxy. You're not the Rebellion - you're the Empire. May the 4th be with you."
But social media users were keen to point out a key detail that the White House team appeared to have missed before they posted the image, namely that Mr Trump appears to be a Sith Lord himself. They identified this awkward fact by noting the lightsaber he held is red, the colour used by baddies Darth Vader and Darth Maul to name a few.

One social media user said: "How do you not have one nerd on staff to tell you what colour lightsaber is good and what colour is bad?" Another added: "umm, red is the colour of the Sith."
While a third posted: "So you have the president a Sith lightsaber. You just counter-signalled your entire post. Congratulations, you should resign." Another said: "Says a lot that the AI knew to give Trump a red lightsaber."
The post has already gone viral, attracting more than 1.2 million views since being posted earlier today. It also garnered an estimated 25,000 likes and 7,600 retweets.
While Mr Trump is portrayed as a Star Wars character, he has previously been slammed by franchise legend Mark Hamill who played Luke Skywalker in the original and recent trilogies.
During last year's presidential campaign, Mr Hamill urged voters "don't go to the orange side" as he made an appearance at the 2024 Democratic National Convention. The 73-year-old added: "In the movies, I fought against make-believe evil. But we’re at a time in history where we’re fighting against real evil. So I beg you, please don’t go to the orange side."
Unfortunately for Mr Hamill, the Republican went on to convincingly win the November Presidential Election against Democrat Kamala Harris. His White House has since regularly posted memes featuring Mr Trump, including one of him while dressed as the Pope, just days after Pontiff Francis died.
