There's some huge bombshells on the way for Kit Green as we finally get a glimpse into his past.
Not only do we see flashback scenes that detail all about what he got up to as a teenager, but we find out his secret link to newcomers Mick and Lou Michaelis. With that, a DNA bombshell is also set to be on the cards in a secret son twist that will spark shockwaves.
Kit actor Jacob Roberts has spilled all on the big twists ahead, including a flashback episode and an explanation of his past which reveals more about the character. We will find out what has shaped him into the man he is today, and it emerges that he may have been in some big trouble.
On what fans can expect with a 'sliding doors' moment, Jacob told The : "It shows he wasn’t so innocent back in the day, I don’t know if that leaves you. It’s a funny one because it’s obviously a different life that he led back then and he’s changed it around and obviously Mick hasn’t, so it was good to find out what happened."
It's Wednesday's episode that we first see hints of a shared, secret past between Kit and Mick ahead of a flashback twist revealing all. Whatever went on between them back then paves the way for a blackmail plot as Mick targets Kit. "I wouldn’t say he’s scared," revealed Jacob.

"He knows he’s gonna blackmail him but Kit’s done that to many characters before. But it is a past that he doesn’t want to bring up again. He was his mate as well and he’s done something for him, he was his best mate at 16 and I don’t think that leaves him.
"I think if he blackmails him too much, he’ll react back, I think that’s what’ll happen with Kit, he’ll only take so much." Amid the flashback drama there's another bombshell that could turn Kit's life upside down, as he starts to question if he's the father of Mick and Lou's son Brody.
With Kit's past with Mick's wife Lou also tipped to come out, Jacob said his character will struggle if he finds out he's had a son all this time. Jacob said: "If he is his, it’s going to be a shock to him, although I don’t think he thinks that anything will change.
"He thinks Mick’s his dad and I’ve got nothing to do with this kid. I don’t think he can necessarily change what’s gonna happen with Brody, I think it would come as a shock to him and he’d be upset or angry that Lou never told him he had a child, because that comes down to her as well.

"He’s not ready for a kid, he’s not ready for a baby, so how can he be ready for a 16 year old lad who’s already learnt off his dad Mick?" The flashback episode details have yet to be revealed, but it will explore Mick, Lou and Kit's pasts and what led to events all these years later.
Whether Brody will be Kit's son and what Mick will make of it remains to be seen. Viewers will also find out what Mick has over Kit, leading to the blackmail twist.
Jacob also discussed his time on the show. He said: "I’ve loved it," he shares. "I think the role helps with the character as well, playing a detective constable I’ve got to meet a lot of the cast members and got to work with everyone.
"So seeing how people work and trying to develop relationships with other people has been good, but I know there’s not much room for that with Kit. It’s been good to work with other people as well, it’s literally half the street up to now."
