A young boy who died after jumping into a canal in Exeter has been named as Delvin Musakwa.
The 13-year-old had been taken to a hospital in a serious condition after he was taken out from the water on Monday, May 5. Emergency services were alerted at about 4:35pm after it had been reported that Delvin failed to return to the surface after he jumped in. He was pulled from the water and treated at the scene of the incident before he was rushed to the hospital. Despite the efforts of emergency workers, Delvin was pronounced dead at the hospital.
