Mumbai, Oct 4 (IANS) Actor Pankaj Tripathi recently surprised fans with his quirky and colourful new look. Known for his eccentric fashion choices, Ranveer Singh playfully reacted to the transformation as he quipped “Hum sudhar gaye, aur aap bigad gaye?”
Pankaj had shared a photograph of himself dressed in a green velvet styled long blazer with golden zari work paired with red zardozi harem pants. He is also seen sporting a cap. However, it’s not clear if the pictures are AI generated or not.
For the caption, Pankaj wrote: “Ek nayi shuruat. This is the beginning of something interesting. How’s the “vibe”?”
He also added the song “Ghafoor” from Aryan Khan’s debut directorial “Ba***ds Of Bollywood”.
After Pankaj shared the picture, it was Ranveer’s comment that caught the eye.
He wrote: “Arre! yeh kya, Guruji ?! Hum sudhar gaye, aur aap bigad gaye? (I mended my ways, and you changed yours).”
On the work front, Ranveer will next be seen in Dhurandhar with R. Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt. The high-octane action drama is directed by Aditya Dhar, and is scheduled to release in theatres on December 5, 2025.
Talking about Pankaj, he was last seen in “Metro... In Dino,” a musical romantic drama film written and directed by Anurag Basu. The film is described as a spiritual sequel to Basu's 2007 anthology film Life in a... Metro.
The ensemble cast also includes Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The narrative interweaves multiple contemporary love stories set in urban India, exploring themes of connection, loneliness, and emotional vulnerability in modern relationships.
He was also seen in Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank by Amar Kaushik. A sequel to the 2018 film Stree, which spawned the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, it serves as the fourth instalment in the franchise. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana as a group of friends who must defeat Sarkata, a headless malevolent entity abducting the women of Chanderi.
He will reportedly be seen next in Parivarik ManuRanjan.
