Islamabad, May 9: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced that the remaining matches of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 or PSL 2025 will now take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This decision follows security concerns after an alleged Indian attack targeted the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The final eight matches of the tournament were originally scheduled to be held in Rawalpindi, Multan and Lahore. However, to ensure the safety of both local and international players, the PCB has decided to move the fixtures to the UAE. The revised schedule with dates and venues will be released soon.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said the Board had always believed that sports and politics should remain separate. However, he stated that the attack on Rawalpindi Stadium was a "dangerous and irresponsible act" clearly aimed at disrupting the ongoing PSL season.
