Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC)’s interviews for State Service Exam 2023 will begin on July 7, marking the final phase of the recruitment process for 229 vacancies across eight government departments.

After nearly six months of waiting since the main exam result was declared on December 30, 2024, around 800 qualified candidates will participate in the interviews.

The MPPSC has introduced a notable change in the interview process this year: candidates will no longer be required to mention their surname, caste, mobile number or email in the pre-interview form. Instead, they will simply indicate their department preferences to promote impartiality.

According to officials, interviews will be conducted over 21 days, with nearly 40-50 candidates scheduled each day. Admit cards for the interview round have already been issued.

The recruitment drive seeks to fill 27 deputy collector posts, 22 deputy superintendent of police (DSP) posts, 17 chief executive officer (Janpad Panchayat) posts, 16 block development officer posts, 122 cooperative inspector posts, 17 chief municipal officer posts, and 3 each of naib tehsildar and excise sub-inspector posts.
