Public display of shraddha is not in accordance with the scriptures
According to astrologer Dr. Tiwari, it is mentioned in Manu Smriti (3/203), “Shraddham prakatayanityam na labhet paramam shriyam.” This means that the person who displays the shraddha does not get the best result.

Whatever you offer to your ancestors with devotion, that is called Shraddha. The purity of feelings is destroyed by the display of Shraddha on social media. This makes the ancestors angry.

According to the scriptures, the ancestors wish that the Shraddha work should be done in solitude with selflessness. Publicity of Shraddha Karma can make your ancestors angry. Due to which your virtue is destroyed. By making the Shraddha public, the secrecy of that ritual is broken, its virtue is lost.

What to do during Shraddha
