Donald Trump is back in the fragrance business. This time, he says it’s all about “Winning, Strength, and Success.” On Monday evening, the 45th and 47th president used his Truth Social account to reveal the launch of ‘Victory 45–47’, a perfume line meant to mark his White House comeback.
" Trump Fragrances are here. They're called 'Victory 45–47' because they're all about Winning, Strength, and Success — for men and women," Trump declared on Truth Social. "Get yourself a bottle, and don't forget to get one for your loved ones too. Enjoy, have fun, and keep winning!"
Gold bottles and a statue cap
There are two options in the collection. One for men. One for women. Both come in gold bottles topped with a miniature statue of Trump himself.
For men, the official site describes the scent as blending “rich, masculine notes with a refined, lasting finish.” The idea, it says, is for men who lead with “strength, confidence, and purpose.” The women’s version aims to “capture confidence, beauty, and unstoppable determination.”
The price of winning
One bottle costs $249. Want two? That drops the price to $199 each. Add a third and the site throws in a ‘Gift Bundle Discount’, taking $150 off the total.
Last December, Trump’s first scent ‘Victory 45’ sold out. So did ‘Fight, Fight, Fight’ — a line named after his campaign rally slogan following an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. Today, old bottles appear on resale sites like eBay.
Perfume joins Trump’s product galaxy
The perfume is just one star in Trump’s vast commercial orbit. There’s Trump Watches. There’s the novelty ‘$TRUMP’ cryptocurrency. He also has a coffee table book called ‘Save America’. According to Forbes, Trump could have pocketed up to $315 million from his crypto coin alone since January — even though the coin’s price fell from $27.72 to $8.73. Last year’s financial disclosure showed $57 million from crypto, $2.8 million from watches, $3 million from the book and $50 million from Mar-a-Lago.
A discreet disclaimer
Yet despite the bold marketing, there’s small print. The perfume is not actually made or sold by Trump directly. A note on the site explains: “Trump Fragrances are not designed, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Donald J Trump,” and are instead produced under a branding licence. The vendor promises the line is “not political and has nothing to do with any political campaign.”
Critics say it’s just another cash grab
Not everyone is impressed. Republicans Against Trump posted on X: “From crypto scams to shady real estate deals, Trump phones, and cologne. He’s never stopped using the presidency to enrich himself and his family.” Journalist Aaron Rupar called it “new frontiers of grifting.” Broadcaster Mehdi Hasan asked: “How is this legal?” Meanwhile, Rodericka Applewhaite reminded followers: “A reminder that then-candidate Jimmy Carter divested from his peanut farm because he was concerned about it being a conflict of interest.”
Does it even smell good?
Scent details remain vague. Users on Fragrantica described the men’s version as woody, spicy, and aromatic. Notes of cardamom and geranium were spotted. But reviews have been lukewarm.
One user, the YouTuber McNasty, wrote on 25 June: “Normal review here. This honestly isn't bad. But it's nothing impressive. I will however say that this is way, way, WAY overpriced. This legit smells like something you could get at Ross for $26.”
Sneakers. Bibles. Guitars. Cryptocurrency. Now perfume. Whether his supporters buy or not, Trump’s pitch remains clear — keep spending and keep winning.
