To perfect this, she participated in workshops with the film’s writers before the shoot. “We focused on how a princess walks, looks at people, and carries herself. Cracking that essence was very important,” she added.

Rukmini underwent horse-riding and sword-fighting lessons to sharpen her warrior skills. “These sessions were crucial to get into the active body language of a warrior.
