Hyundai Motor India for its ‘Brand i10’ has achieved over 3.3 million unit sales worldwide. Since its debut in 2007, the popular hatchback has become a household name, clocking more than 2 million sales in India alone and exporting another 1.3 million units to over 140 countries, including South Africa, Mexico, Chile, and Peru.

Over 18 years and three generations - from the original i10 to the Grand i10 and now the Grand i10 Nios - the hatchback has kept pace with the evolving market.
Today, the Grand i10 Nios is offered with three powertrain options. Its 1.2-litre NA petrol engine delivers 82 bhp and 113.8 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-step AMT gearbox. There’s also a CNG variant producing 68 bhp and 95.2 Nm, available exclusively with a 5-speed manual. Prices start at Rs 5.98 lakh for the petrol version.
The hatchback comes equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), LED daytime running lights, cruise control, and an 8-inch touchscreen system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Interestingly, the Grand i10 Nios has also found favour among first-time car buyers, with over 45% of its customers in FY24-25 purchasing it as their very first vehicle. The car is especially popular in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Haryana. Moreover, the Grand i10 Nios enjoys strong appeal among families, with more than 83% of its owners being married, as per the data shared by Hyundai.
