BYD India has announced the prices of the new 2025 BYD Seal EV . The bookings for the EV is already underway, interested customers can book the Seal online or by visiting their nearest dealership by paying Rs 1.25 lakh starting. So far, the company has sold 1,300 Seal EVs in the Indian market and the deliveries of the new model is expected to begin soon.
The 2025 Seal continues to be available in three variants - Dynamic, Premium and Performance, priced at Rs 41 lakh, 45.7 lakh and Rs 53.15 lakh (ex-showroom, respectively).
Talking about the updates, all variants of the BYD Seal now get a powered sunshade, along with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Enhancements also extend to the air conditioning system, which now offers improved cooling and air purification. On the technical side, the mid-tier Premium variant benefits from Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD) for better ride comfort. Meanwhile, the top-end Performance variant now gets the advanced DiSus-C damping system, which dynamically adapts to road conditions in real-time.
The Seal EV continues to be offered with two battery pack options - a 61.4 kWh and 82.5 kWh. The smaller pack is compatible with single- and dual-motor setups, while the larger pack is exclusive to all-wheel-drive. The top variant, with the bigger battery, promises a range of up to 700 km and a 530 hp dual-motor setup for a 3.8-second 0-100 kmph sprint.
