Jharkhand Public Service Commission has released recruitment for more than 100 posts. The candidates can apply by visiting the official site.
Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has started the recruitment process for 134 posts of Assistant Public Prosecutor (APO). This recruitment is being done in the Prison and Disaster Management Department of Jharkhand state.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of the commission www.jpsc.gov.in till 5 pm on July 21. The last date for submission of application fee is 22 July 2025.
To join this recruitment, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university and a certificate of computer operation from an institute recognized by the state government.
Talking about the age limit, the minimum age has been fixed at 21 years. At the same time, the maximum age for general and EWS category has been fixed at 35 years, 37 years for OBC, 38 years for female candidates and 40 years for SC/ST category.
Candidates will be selected in three stages – Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. There will be two papers in the preliminary examination. In the first paper, questions of 100 marks will be asked from General Studies, while in the second paper there will be questions of 200 marks based on Law subject.
The duration of the examination will be two hours each. After this, the main examination will include Hindi, English, Essay, General Studies and Law subjects. Candidates successful in the main examination will be called for interview.
Talking about the examination fee, candidates of General, OBC and EWS category will have to pay Rs 600, while a fee of Rs 150 has been fixed for SC and ST category candidates of Jharkhand state. Application will be free for Divyang candidates.
