Liam Delap has been handed his first start for Chelsea as Enzo Maresca makes four changes for the Blues' FIFA Club World Cup clash with Flamengo in Philadelphia.
Maresca confirmed on Thursday that he would make a number of alterations to the side that beat Los Angeles FC earlier in the week - and that is indeed the case. In come Delap, Malo Gusto, Enzo Fernandez and Trevoh Chalobah.
Andrey Santos, though, has to settle for a place on the bench again as he still awaits his competitive Blues debut. New signings Mamadou Sarr and Dario Essugo are also on the bench at the Lincoln Financial Field.

Elsewhere, Chalobah replaces Tosin Adarabioyo, who has been dropped to the bench. Fernandez takes Romeo Lavia's place, with Maresca clearly still managing the Belgian's fitness. The line-up suggests Gusto could be on the wing, with the Frenchman replacing Noni Madueke, presumably on the left-hand side.
Nicolas Jackson drops to the bench for Delap, with Maresca using the Club World Cup to gauge how they both react to strong competition with one another. Following the win in Atlanta over Los Angeles FC on Monday, the Chelsea head coach was relishing the prospect of having two hungry No.9s at his disposal.
He said: "Both are very good No.9s and hopefully both can score goals and get assists like today. I prefer to have four or five players who score ten or twelve goals each rather one striker who scores 40 goals.
"Last year we tried to use different threats, different weapons; we also we had two or three months where we were without Nico and Marc [Guiu]. We tried to find different solutions but for sure, when you have two strikers like Nico and Liam, it's a nice feeling as a head coach. You know you can choose one of them and it's going to be a good choice."
Chelsea XI to take on Flamengo: Sanchez; James, Colwill, Chalobah, Cucurella; Fernandez, Caicedo; Neto, Palmer, Gusto; Delap.
