It has been a quiet transfer window for Arsenal so far in terms of completed moves. There has so far been no new arrivals at the Emirates Stadium, but that could soon change.
The Gunners are close to completing a move for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi. The Spaniard has been in London this week completing the formalities of his transfer to the club with Arsenal triggering his €65 million (£55.4m) release clause.
That transfer could be quickly followed by another, with Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga also on the verge of moving to Arsenal. The Athletic report that the 30-year-old is expected in London sometime this week to complete the formalities of his £5 million move from Stamford Bridge.

Kepa will most likely come in as a replacement for Neto who acted as back-up to David Raya in the 2024/25 season. The Brazilian goalkeeper has now returned to parent club AFC Bournemouth, where Kepa spent last season on loan.
In terms of other incomings, one of the primary targets this summer is a striker. Red Bull Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres are the two most heavily linked, with the former seeming to be the number one target.
Talks have been held with Leipzg for Sesko, but no agreement between the club has been reached yet. Meanwhile, reports in Portugal suggest that Gyokeres is keen on a move to Arsenal, but Sporting’s asking price could be a sticking point.
Another positon the Gunners are keen to strengthen this summer is in the left-hand side of their attack. The club have been linked with an interest in the likes of Nico Williams, Noni Madueke and Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.
The Spanish giants are said to have put a €90 million (£76.7m) asking price on Rodrygo’s head if they are to sell this summer. Newcastle United’s Antony Gordon has also been mentioned as a player of interest, but any move is likely to be pricey.
The Athletic also add that a new defender could also be a possibility this summer, but no names of potential targets have been mentioned.
One last incoming may be dependent on outgoings. There still remains uncertainty over the future of Thomas Partey.
The midfielder is out of contract at the end of the month. Arsenal have held talks with him over a new deal, but an agreement is yet to be reached, meaning he could still leave on a free transfer.
If that is the case then Arsenal are likely to be looking for a replacement. One name to be mentioned is Sevilla’s Lucien Agoume.
As well as Partey, another potential outgoing this summer is goalkeeper Karl Hein. Kepa’s arrival will again free up the 23-year-old to move on either on a loan or permanent deal this summer.
The player spent last season on loan with Real Valladolid where he impressed with his performances. He is said to have interest from other clubs in Spain for the upcoming season.
